JOB REQUIREMENTS
Active Louisiana Medical License
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active Louisiana DEA and Louisiana Controlled Substance License Required
ACLS ATLS and PALS Required for Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Physicians
Experience: Emergency Medicine Experience Required
Other Qualifications: Actual Louisiana License Board Certification Louisiana DEA and Louisiana Controlled Substance License Required at Presentation; Fellowship Preferred; Telehealth Experience Not Required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide emergency department physician coverage
Evaluate diagnose and treat emergency department patients
Perform emergency stabilization and acute care management
Coordinate specialty consultations and patient transfers as needed
Complete accurate documentation within Epic EMR
