PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Moderate Sedation Competency Required
Case Logs Required: Previous 2 Years
CME Documentation Required: Minimum 50 Category I Credits During Previous 2 Years
Immunization Requirements: Annual Influenza Vaccine Current PPD or Chest X-Ray Current Physical Exam Annual N95 Fit Test and Titers for MMR Hepatitis B and Varicella

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active New York Nurse Practitioner License or Active New York Physician Assistant License
Board: Current AANP/ANCC Certification for NPs or NCCPA Certification for PAs
DEA: Active DEA Registration with New York Address and Schedules II IIN III IIIN IV and V
Certifications: ACLS and PALS (AHA)
Experience: New Graduates Considered; Training Provided
Other Qualifications: Graduate of an Accredited NP or PA Program
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate Diagnose and Treat Emergency Department Patients
Perform Emergency Medicine Procedures Within Scope of Practice
Provide Patient Care in a Community Hospital Emergency Department
Document Patient Encounters in Meditech EMR
Collaborate with Physicians Nursing Staff and Hospital Personnel to Coordinate Patient Care
