Baptist Health is seeking to add an Emergency Department Technician to our Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center Clay located in Fleming Island. This is a full-time evening shift opportunity.
As an Emergency Department Technician you will be responsible for:
- Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living.
- Maintaining a safe environment.
- Collecting lab specimens.
- Intake and Output monitoring.
- Electronic medical record documentation.
- Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Education &CredentialRequirements:
- High School Diploma Required
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed EMT or CNA Required
