Emergency Department Technician

Shift: 12:00pm-10:00pm; Monday - Friday.

As an Emergency Department Technician youll support our Registered Nurses and clinical team by providing hands-on patient care and assisting with essential tasks that ensure comfort safety and efficiency in a dynamic environment. • Works closely with patients and provides them with basic immediate care and comfort needs such as obtaining vitals (i.e. temperature blood pressure heart and respiratory rate.
• Cleaning and changing bedsheets bathing dressing and toileting patients.
• Building true emotional connections with patients.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED

Experience:

• PatientCareTechnician Irole experience for at least one year.

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)(preferred upon hire;within 30 days)
