Summary

As an Embroidery Associate in our OCF operations you will be part of the team that provides logistics solutions that deliver our clients products using high volume multi-distribution networks.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operates sewing machine to embroider name/logos on garments: Reads work order to determine type and location of embroidery.

  • Selects size and color thread and draws it through machine guides and bobbin.

  • Turns setscrews to regulate machine settings.

  • Positions article under presser foot and presses pedal or knee control to start machine and control speed of sewing.

  • Observes sewing operation to detect defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction and notifies lead/supervisor of malfunction.

  • May repair defective embroidery or fill in blanks left by embroidery machine.

  • May operate automatic embroidery machines with multiple sewing heads.

Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma orequivalent.

  • Experience with Barudin equipment a plus but not required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision

  • Ability to work well within a team environment

  • Good attendance

  • Attention to detail

  • Some computer skills

  • Follow directions

  • Multitask

  • Ability to constantly stand and walk throughout the workday

  • Ability to work overtime as needed and flexibility in schedule

  • Sense of urgency
