Embedded SW Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Software Engineer in Grand Prairie TX for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This full-time onsite position will support missile programs through the development and maintenance of embedded real-time C software related to Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL). The role will perform requirements analysis design development implementation testing integration and maintenance activities.

Required Skills

• Active Secret clearance with the most recent investigation completed within the last 5 years.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in real-time embedded C programming.
• Hands-on Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) experience.

Preferred Skills

• Ada experience.
• Linux operating systems experience.
• Jira Confluence and GitLab experience.

What Youll Do

• Perform requirements analysis for embedded real-time software supporting missile programs.
• Design and develop embedded real-time C software related to Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL).
• Implement and test software solutions.
• Integrate software into applicable systems.
• Maintain embedded software throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support Hardware-In-the-Loop activities for missile programs.
• Work onsite full time in Grand Prairie Texas.
