Overview
Client is seeking Embedded Software Engineers to support missile programs through the analysis design development implementation testing integration and maintenance of embedded real-time C software and Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware solutions.
This role focuses on developing and supporting mission-critical software systems in an onsite engineering environment working with embedded technologies and middleware platforms that support advanced missile applications.
Core Responsibilities
Perform requirements analysis design development implementation testing integration and maintenance of embedded real-time C software.
Develop and support Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware software for missile program applications.
Create and maintain device driver software in embedded environments.
Collaborate with engineering teams to support software integration and system functionality.
Education Level
Bachelors and 11 years experience or Masters and 9 years of experience
Essential Qualifications Skills and Technologies
Active Secret Security Clearance with the most recent investigation completed within the last 5 years.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Proficiency in real-time embedded C programming.
Hands-on experience with Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware software.
Experience developing device driver software.
Preferred Skills or Experience
Experience working with Linux operating systems.
Experience using Jira Confluence and GitLab.
Work Details
Onsite full-time position in Grand Prairie Texas.
Work schedule: 4/10A 1st Shift.
Non-Exempt position.
