HII Mission Technologies (HII MT) is seeking talented engineers who are excited to work in a flipped engineering environment. Our team in Roanoke VA specializes in reverse engineering and microelectronics trust and assurance.

Candidates for this position will lead a team performing reverse engineering tasks on existing products. Candidates will be expected to reverse engineer microelectronic and application software using both static and dynamic reverse engineering processes. Additional tasks involve firmware extraction plugin development and adding support to simulation platforms for unsupported processors. Candidates will be exposed to and become proficient with a variety of technologies involving microprocessor architectures software reverse engineering frameworks reverse engineering toolsets and more.

The ideal candidate will have experience with static software reverse engineering tools including Ghidra Binaryninja and IDA Pro. The candidate will have experience utlilizing simulation platforms such as QEMU GDB Renode and LLVM. The candidate will also be experienced with implementing exploits based on vulnerabilities reported as CVEs. Experience in working with digital logic designs and FPGA systems is also valued in this position.

*Position requires full-time and onsite presence in Roanoke VA.
