This position reports to:
Warehouse/Internal Logistics SupervisorYour role and responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line. Each day you will be responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by performing other routine activities according to established procedures.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power division in Mebane NC.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Optimizing inventory processes driving continuous improvement and supporting crossfunctional collaboration to meet production schedules and organizational goals.
- Coordinating and expediting materials
- Managing inventory quality and accuracy and maintaining inventory management systems.
- Scheduling dedicated and expedited transportation
- Trending transportation costs and recommending costreduction opportunities.
- Developing and integrating processes that enhance safety efficiency quality and cost control.
- Build strong relationships with plant leadership commercial teams customer service and finance to manage complex issues and align logistics with broader business strategy.
- Publishing performance metrics
- Supporting master schedule execution
- Performing routine warehouse tasks such as sorting materials picking components final packing cycle counting and raw material audits.
- SAP data maintenance and storage location cleanup also form part of the role.

Qualifications for the role
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in production planning or logistics
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required
- Knowledge and use of tools tape measure calipers grinders or other hand tools as needed.
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job as needed
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 40lbs
Manufacturing plant environment requiring a combination of hands-on and technical tasks. Work may involve occasional lifting of materials climbing stairs/ladders and walking. Employees may be required to bend twist or stand for extended periods.
Frequent use of computers is necessary for data entry monitoring and communication. Employees will also handle a variety of tools and equipment from hand tools to machinery requiring technical skills and adherence to safety protocols.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses gloves and steel-toed shoes is required to ensure a safe working environment. Adhering to safety guidelines is essential for all team members.
The work environment requires physical endurance technical proficiency and a commitment to maintaining safety standards to contribute to a productive and rewarding workplace.
