Immaculate Conception School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will provide engaging student-centered instruction while creating a positive classroom environment that supports academic achievement personal growth and strong character development. This individual will work collaboratively with colleagues families and school leadership to help students reach their full potential.
- Develop and deliver engaging standards-based lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Create a positive supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students are encouraged to succeed.
- Plan and implement assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
- Differentiate instruction to support varying learning styles abilities and academic needs.
- Utilize educational technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance student learning.
- Maintain accurate student records grades and documentation.
- Foster strong communication and partnerships with parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support school initiatives and student success.
- Participate in faculty meetings professional development opportunities and school events.
- Uphold the mission and values of Immaculate Conception School through daily interactions and professional conduct.
- Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid Tennessee Teaching License (or ability to obtain licensure; or willing to participate in a job-embedded program).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to cultivate a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication organizational and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to supporting the academic social and emotional development of students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a professional learning community.
