Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained 1st and 2nd grade classroom serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Youll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships create engaging learning experiences and help students develop academically socially and behaviorally in a structured supportive environment.
Position Highlights:
- Teach a self-contained classroom serving 1st and 2nd grade students.
- Deliver individualized instruction aligned with each students IEP goals.
- Foster communication independence and positive behavioral growth.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals related service providers and families.
- Monitor student progress and maintain required educational documentation.
- Create a safe engaging classroom where students are encouraged to succeed.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement and a Bachelors degree in Special Education or a closely related discipline. Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder is highly preferred. Strong collaboration classroom management and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
