Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team at the Dexter Early Elementary Complex. As an elementary teacher you will create a positive and engaging classroom environment foster students academic growth and support their social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the curriculum standards and meet the needs of students.
• Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations tests and assignments.
• Provide individualized support to students as needed to help them achieve academic success.
• Establish clear objectives and expectations for behavior and academic performance.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers school staff and parents to support student development.
• Maintain effective communication with parents through regular updates conferences and progress reports.
• Attend professional development workshops school meetings and other relevant training to continuously improve teaching skills.
• Follow school policies and procedures including health and safety guidelines.
• Responsibility of employees to obtain and maintain all training(s) certificate(s) approval(s) etc. and provide documentation to the Human Resource office before the expiration date of said document(s).

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Required).
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate (Required).
• Experience teaching in an elementary school setting (Preferred).
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design and instructional strategies for elementary students. Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate inspire and build positive relationships with students parents and colleagues.
• Compassionate patient and flexible approach to working with children.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational tools in the classroom.
