Job Summary

The San Diego Unified School District is currently accepting applications for the position ofElementary School Assistant at Oak Park Elementary School.This promotional / open opportunity is open to all interested candidates.

This opportunity is open only to candidates that have been PRE-QUALIFIED forElementary School Assistant.This recruitment will be used to establish an Eligibility List for the current vacancy shown list will be active forthree (3) months or until the position is filled.

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Elementary School Assistant relieves the work load of a site administrator and staff by performing delegated administrative duties and accomplishing assigned projects; coordinate school activities as assigned.

  • Positions greater than 20 hours per week qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents.
  • Vacancies thatrequirethe incumbent to be Bilingual in English/Spanish will be considered for positions that require bilingual skills will be invited to a Performance Test (Qualifying Only) for oral and written fluency. Bilingual positions qualify for a 5% bilingual differential.
