$20$27 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview
Mission Bend Elementary is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic tutors to provide small-group academic support in reading and math for students in grades 35. Tutors will work closely with students to reinforce grade-level skills build confidence and support academic growth in a structured after-school setting.
Responsibilities
Provide small-group instruction in reading or math aligned with grade-level standards
Support skill development through targeted practice and guided instruction
Assist students with comprehension fluency problem-solving and foundational math skills
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Create a positive supportive and engaging learning environment
Collaborate with school staff as needed to support student success
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience working with elementary-aged students in a classroom tutoring or academic support setting
Experience with reading intervention and/or math instruction for grades 35 preferred
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Ability to work effectively with small groups
Dependable professional and student-focused
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with elementary curriculum and instructional strategies
Patience enthusiasm and a passion for working with children
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
