Elementary Reading Interventionist

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a Reading Interventionist to join our staff and work in an amazing school!

Qualifications:

• Valid Vermont teaching license or eligibility for VT licensure

• Training/experience in Science of Reading and evidencebased literacy instruction

• Strong knowledge of literacy development assessment and intervention practices

• Effective collaboration and communication skills with teachers families and MTSS teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted reading interventions for students needing additional literacy support

• Collaborate with classroom teachers special educators and MTSS teams

• Use assessment data to identify needs monitor progress and adjust instruction

• Implement evidencebased literacy practices aligned with the Science of Reading
