Elementary Dean of Students

Johnstown Elementary School (Gr. K-3) is seeking a Dean of Students

Qualifications:

• State of Ohio administrators certification/license (Gr. PK-6) preferred but not immediately required; however must earn administrators certification/licensure by July 31 2026
• Masters Degree in Administration preferred but not immediately required from an accredited college or university
• Such alternative(s) to the above qualifications as the superintendent and/or the board of education may find appropriate
• Position requires a working knowledge of school functions including student discipline teacher evaluation; good organizational and communication skills; and ability to work cooperatively with others
• Successful candidate will possess technological literacy skills quality data analysis skills and be able to utilize data to continually improve classroom instruction and student achievement
• Successful candidate will possess exceptional public relations skills and utilize said skills to foster a positive and productive relationship with students parents staff and community
