Job Summary

Electrophysiology Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Contract

Location: Hackensack NJ

Duration: 50 Weeks Contract

Pay Rate: $75 - $80/Hour

Shift Options:

  • 4x10 Hour Schedule or 5x8 Hour Schedule

  • 09:00 AM 07:30 PM

  • 11:00 AM 07:30 PM

  • 40 Hours Per Week

  • Weekends as Needed

  • Holidays as Needed

  • On-Call Required

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) to assist physicians during invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. The ideal candidate will support EP studies ablations cardiac device implantations and advanced interventional cardiac procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile procedural environment.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program Radiologic Technologist Program or Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS)

  • Current AHA BLS Certification

  • AHA ACLS Certification (or obtained within 3 months of hire)

  • RCIS Certification (or obtained within 1 year of hire)

  • Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology procedures

  • Strong knowledge of EP mapping systems ablation procedures and cardiac implant devices

  • Proficiency in sterile scrub technique

  • Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends holidays and on-call rotations

Preferred Qualifications
  • RCES Certification

  • Prior Electrophysiology Lab experience

  • Advanced Cardiac Cath Lab procedural experience

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and organize sterile trays and cardiovascular procedure equipment

  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

  • Support electrophysiology studies ablations and cardiac device implantations

  • Operate and calibrate hemodynamic monitoring systems

  • Assist with vascular access sheath removal and hemostasis management

  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic data

  • Operate imaging and fluoroscopy equipment as required

  • Maintain equipment inventory and procedural room readiness

  • Ensure compliance with patient safety and cardiovascular lab protocols

  • Participate in on-call coverage as required

Certifications Required
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • RCIS Certification (or eligibility within 1 year)
