Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Tech for a high-acuity Interventional Cardiology assignment in New York City. This position is ideal for cardiovascular professionals with strong EP Lab experience advanced technical knowledge and the ability to support complex electrophysiology procedures in a collaborative hospital environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment expertise with EP Lab equipment and devices and a solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy physiology and hemodynamics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during electrophysiology and interventional cardiology procedures
  • Prepare and operate EP Lab equipment and monitoring systems
  • Monitor patient hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms during procedures
  • Support catheter-based diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Ensure proper functioning and troubleshooting of EP devices and equipment
  • Maintain sterile technique and procedural safety standards
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and cardiovascular team members
  • Document procedural information accurately according to department standards
  • Respond appropriately during emergency situations and critical procedures
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited program in:
    • Cardiac Electrophysiology
    • Cardiovascular Technology
    • Or equivalent education and experience
  • Current BCLS Certification required
  • Current ACLS Certification required
  • Demonstrated EP Lab experience required
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Hemodynamics
    • Cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
    • Electrophysiology procedures and equipment
Preferred Certifications

The following certifications are preferred:

  • RCES (strongly preferred)
  • IBHRE Certification
  • RCIS Certification
