M9 Solutions is seeking anElectronics Technician 3to work onsite in support of a government contract for a client located inChantilly VA. An activeTS/SCI clearanceis required.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations maintenance troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conducts site surveys configures hardware and software tests systems for proper operation and provides technical support to the client.
• Utilizes and comprehends the project Safety plan (JHA AHA PFW) enforcing the clients handbook and policies.
• Participates in quality reviews of the client design documentation analyzing and interpreting drawing packages to evaluate constructability.
• Tracks project metrics and participates in weekly resource allocation meetings.
• Executes installation and maintenance activities within planned durations ensuring completion of detailed documentation.
• Tracks and inventories tools conducts tool inspections and organizes material ordering and receiving.
• Conducts daily ORM meetings ensures team compliance with safety requirements and completes accident/incident reporting.
• Participates in PITCO plan creation and build-out executing the PITCO plan to ensure high-quality testing and installation.
• Installs system raceway cabling equipment racks enclosures and panels adhering to industry standards.
• Terminates tests and configures electronic devices network and IT equipment.
• Manages base switch configurations participates in the configuration of servers and workstations and troubleshoots programmable components.
• Ensures compliance with established QC plans and checklists conducting quality control inspections and documenting findings.
• Installs and maintains field devices terminates and tests system components and troubleshoots copper and fiber optic issues.
• Leads commissioning efforts tracks commissioning activities and assists in representing the client in meetings with owners and design teams.
• Communicates consistently with the clients project teams other trades and customers demonstrating dedication and collaboration.
• Leads by example provides constructive feedback mentors crew members and encourages strategic thinking and innovation.
• Demonstrates strong communication interpersonal and time management skills aligning with the clients vision mission and values.
• Provides a look ahead for assignment of manpower material procurement/staging and resource planning.

• 50% Travel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Education
  • HS diploma or GED Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or
  • Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
  • Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
  • An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
• 6 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple client programs.
• Strong oral written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
• Must possess strong problem-solving skills technical proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong MS Excel Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus.
• Requires a Valid drivers license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Candidatesmust possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with the clients policy.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Vendor certifications in multiple IDS ACS and CCTV systems: CCURE Lenel Identiv/Hirsch Velocity Bosch Radionics Bosch CCTV Bosch BVMS AIphone Intercom Systems FFT DIVAR Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems.
• 3 years of experience focused on electronic security systems.
• OSHA 30 certification.
