Job Overview

The Sales Engineer combines technical expertise with consultative selling to support customers and drive business this role youll partner with customers to understand their testing challenges recommend both standard equipment and custom-engineered solutions and guide projects from concept through delivery. Youll serve as a trusted advisor and key link between customers sales and engineering teams.

A Day in the Life

Youll spend your day working with customers and internal teams to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored test solutions. Youll present products develop quotes and manage opportunities from initial conversation through close. Its a collaborative fast-paced role where technical knowledge and relationship-building drive success.

What Youll Do

  • Promote and sell Cirris electrical test equipment and custom engineering solutions
  • Identify customer needs and recommend standard or custom test solutions
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle including qualification quoting and closing
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations demonstrations and proposals
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define and deliver customer-specific solutions
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support including troubleshooting
  • Maintain customer relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Track opportunities and sales activity using CRM and internal systems
  • Stay current on products industry trends and competitive solutions

  • Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial proposals

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required

  • Experience in technical sales applications engineering or similar role preferred
  • Experience with industrial electrical or capital equipment is a plus

Travel

  • Up to 30% travel including domestic and occasional international trips to support customers and business development
