Shift: 7am-3pm Monday-Friday

Job Summary: Designs builds tests troubleshoots repairs and modifies developmental and production electronic components parts equipment and systems by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Discusses layout and assembly problems with Engineers and draws sketches to clarify design details.

- Assembles experimental circuitry or complete prototype model.

- Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.

- Sets up standard test apparatus to conduct functional operational environmental and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype.

- Adjusts calibrates aligns and modifies circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance.

- Writes technical reports and develop charts graphs and schematics to describe systems operating characteristics.

- Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.

- Maintain laboratory equipment is in working order.

Education:

- High School Diploma or GED required

- Associates degree in electronic technology preferred

Experience:

- Must be able to read blueprints and use schematics

- Must be able to use digital multimeters (DMMS) oscilloscopes volt-ohm meter and soldering equipment

- May be required to use various hand tools such as wire strippers crimpers screw drivers etc.

Physical Requirements:

- May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.

- May be required to sit for 34-hour intervals
