Job Summary
Job Title:Electronic Assembler
Schedule: 7:00AM - 3:30 PM Mon - Fri
What Youll Do
- Perform complex assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies for aerospace and defense systems.
- Interpret and follow detailed visual aids engineering drawings and written instructions to assemble modify or rework units.
- Hand-load and solder PCB assemblies including fine-pitch components following IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards.
- Identify and repair soldering anomalies working with both lead and lead-free solder under a microscope.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices.
- Participate in offsite training to maintain industry certifications as required.
- Actively contribute ideas for process improvement and operational excellence.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- U.S. citizenship (required due to national security contracts).
- 35 years of J-STD soldering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Certification to IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify electronic component values.
- Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a self-starter who can plan execute and complete tasks independently.
