Become a Key Player as an Electromechanical Assembler 2

You will assemble and test electronic and electromechanical subassemblies that support production schedules and deliverable quality. Your work directly affects output for production quality and engineering teams in an onsite manufacturing environment (1st shift: 5:30 AM 2:00 PM). You will operate specialized equipment and follow established processes to meet throughput and compliance goals.

Heres How Youll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Perform electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work on a semi-repetitive to repetitive production basis
  • Apply ESD controls soldering epoxy mixing bonding assembly and packaging techniques
  • Work under microscopes for extended periods to handle small parts and piezoelectric crystals
  • Build intermediate cable harnesses and perform PCB assembly and small mechanical assembly
  • Read basic blueprints and follow written work instructions and work orders
  • Execute high voltage potting and high voltage testing as required
  • Operate winding/braiding machinery torque wrenches digital multimeters solder irons crimpers heat guns and microscopes
  • Coordinate with Quality Production Control and Engineering on process and product issues
Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three (3) or more years of related electronics assembly experience
  • Basic computer skills to access time cards and log work orders for special processes
  • Ability to follow established procedures and make routine decisions in standardized situations
  • Ability to stand sit use hands for fine work and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds
Heres What Else Might Help You Out
  • J-STD-001 certification (preferred)
  • Experience with high voltage testing (up to 12 kV hypot)
  • Prior experience operating winding/braiding machinery and precision hand tools
  • Comfort working long periods under a microscope
Pay Range

$20.80 - $26.00/hour
