Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician with 35 years of relevant experience to install maintain troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in commercial industrial or construction environments and a strong understanding of electrical codes safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Install maintain and repair electrical wiring fixtures control systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and perform troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
  • Install and maintain electrical panels motors transformers switchgear and related equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Test electrical systems and components using appropriate testing equipment and instruments.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance operations and project teams to support operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records inspection reports and work documentation.
  • Assist with electrical upgrades modifications and improvement projects.
  • Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other workplace safety requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational certification in Electrical Technology preferred.
  • 35 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician in industrial commercial manufacturing construction or related environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems circuits motors control panels and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes standards and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
  • Valid US drivers license and strong driving safety record (no more than 2 moving violations in previous 3 years).
  • Acceptable background check clear of DWI convictions for the last 5 years.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration within and between department(s)

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Electrician or relevant electrical certification.
  • Experience with PLCs VFDs instrumentation or automated systems.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
  • Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.
