Job Summary

Accountabilities

• Tests and maintains the emergency generators and emergency power systems on a weekly basis and documents all test results. 20%
• Repairs and maintains fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.15%
• Performs scheduled tests to comply with JCAHO DHEC and other standards. Attends training to achieve 90% attendance as required by JCAHO. 15%
• Performs preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and records appropriately. Detects repairs necessary implements repair request and recommends PM frequency changes additions deletions to PM schedule.15%
• Repairs nurse call systems surgical lights automatic door controls and food service equipment.15%
• Mounts motors transformers and lighting fixtures into position and completed circuits according to diagram specifications.10%
• Maintains installs replaces and tests electrical circuits equipment and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.10%

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

5 years of electrical experience
