Role Description: This is a full-time on-site Electrician role based in Globe AZ. The Electrician will install maintain and repair electrical systems equipment and components used in mining and processing operations including motors control panels lighting and power distribution. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance troubleshooting electrical faults and safely restoring equipment to service to minimize downtime. The Electrician will interpret electrical drawings and schematics follow company and regulatory safety procedures and document work performed in maintenance systems. This role collaborates closely with operations engineering and maintenance teams to support reliable plant performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity including AC/DC circuits grounding and industrial power systems.
- Hands-on experience with electrical work such as installation wiring conduit terminations and panel work.
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair of motors drives control systems and other industrial electrical equipment.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical issues using test instruments schematics and diagnostic methods.
- Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts applied to industrial or mining environments is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety standards (e.g. NFPA 70E lockout/tagout PPE use).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings diagrams and equipment manuals.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or apprenticeship in electrical trade preferred.
- Previous industrial mining or heavy manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in an on-site mining environment including rotating shifts weekends or overtime as needed and to perform physically demanding tasks safely.
