Location: Kent WA (on-site) Pay: $30$34/hour DOE Shift: 12 days on / 2 days off 8-hour shifts (see options below) Type: Full-time direct hire union position (Teamsters Local 117)
About the Role An established industrial wire manufacturer in the Kent WA area is hiring a Maintenance Electrician to keep production machinery running. Youll install modify repair and program electrical systems and components on industrial equipment. Full-time direct-hire union role with strong benefits and a team that values safety and quality.
Shift Options
- 1st: 7:00 AM3:30 PM
- 2nd: 3:00 PM11:30 PM
- 3rd: 11:00 PM7:30 AM
What Youll Do
- Install power supply wiring and conduit for machines and equipment
- Connect and disconnect power supply wiring
- Troubleshoot transformers motors control boards and other equipment
- Replace faulty electrical components
- Work with coworkers and supervisors to diagnose equipment failures
- Follow all safety regulations and keep a clean work area
What You Need
- Previous experience as a maintenance electrician
- Experience with PLCs drives and up to 480V (no license required)
- Able to read blueprints wiring diagrams and schematics
- Mill or heavy-industrial experience a plus
- Must be 18 and able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Must pass background drug/alcohol and physical screenings
