Eatons ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Electrical Technician to join the Omaha NE team!
The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 - $34.00 per hour.
Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm

Position Overview:
The Electrical Technician I position is a key role in the final inspection and functional testing of Eatons products. As a Electrical Technician I you will create a test plan electronically / electrically test and inspect electrical components and connections in various applications; (structures units panels panel-boards component parts controls and assemblies) in order to verify correct product function. At times you will need to perform troubleshooting and complete or document needed repairs prior to shipping. The ability to follow diagrams schematics and various work instructions in line with engineered specifications including test and working procedures will allow you to be productive in this role.
In this function you will:
Follow verbal and written instructions drawings and specifications to set up inspect and test equipment.
Perform mechanical electrical insulation and sequence testing; inspect assemblies panels and components for quality and functionality.
Troubleshoot test failures determine root causes and coordinate corrective actions with Engineering Quality and supervision.
Verify customer orders for completeness and support customer inspectors during testing and inspection activities.
Recommend and support improvements to assembly wiring calibration testing procedures and ensure required changes and repairs are completed.
Maintain test equipment calibration status records and reports.
Comply with all safety PPE hygiene and housekeeping requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
