Electrical Technician I

Were looking for an Electrical Technician to join our growing this field-based role youll assist with the installation of residential and commercial solar PV and energy storage systems while working alongside experienced professionals to deliver safe high-quality installations that meet company standards and electrical codes.

Whether youre experienced in solar or looking to grow your electrical career Renu provides classroom and hands-on field training during your first 30 days. All tools and required safety equipment are provided and some local travel between job sites is required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• System Installation: Assist with the installation of solar PV and energy storage systems from start to finish.
• Electrical Work: Install system components while following electrical diagrams specifications and project requirements
• Quality & Safety: Perform work in accordance with company standards electrical codes and safety requirements.
• Team Support: Assist the Electrical Team Lead and crew members to ensure efficient project completion.
• Equipment Management: Maintain work vehicles tools equipment and inventory.
• Field Service: Assist with electrical upgrades rooftop work and other field installation activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Complete training and contribute to a positive team-oriented work environment.

Required / Minimum

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work safely on rooftops ladders attics crawlspaces and confined spaces
• Strong work ethic attention to detail and teamwork skills
• General knowledge of electrical work construction and OSHA safety practices
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Preferred / Helpful

• 1 year of electrical experience
• 1 year of solar electrical experience
• Experience with residential or commercial electrical installations
• Interest in building a career in the renewable energy industry
