We are hiring an Electrical Technician I/II to support electronics assembly electrical testing troubleshooting and repair operations in a controlled manufacturing environment. This role supports production and Repair & Return (R&R) activities involving PCB soldering and rework wiring harnesses electrical and electromechanical assemblies multimeters oscilloscopes automated test equipment ERP/MES documentation ESD controls and IPC standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble test troubleshoot and repair electrical and electromechanical assemblies.
- Perform IPC-compliant soldering and rework on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and wiring harnesses.
- Use multimeters oscilloscopes automated test equipment and other diagnostic tools to support testing and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics work instructions and engineering documentation.
- Document repair activities and test results accurately in ERP/MES systems.
- Support quality activities root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform work in an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment while following established safety and quality standards.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
- Escalate unfamiliar defects failures or technical issues to senior technicians or supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 04 years of electronics assembly or repair experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and follow controlled manufacturing and repair processes.
- Basic soldering proficiency.
- Basic understanding of electrostatic discharge (ESD) controls and safe electronic component handling practices.
- Ability to accurately document electrical testing and repair activities.
- Ability to lift 2540 lbs. as required.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or related experience.
- IPC J-STD-001 certification or related experience.
