Electrical Mechanical Engineer 2

• Responsible for the design testing certification and ongoing engineering support of various aspects of aircraft electrical systems such as power generation and storage power distribution wire harness design etc.

• Support mechanical and avionics systems with electrical integration details including circuit design and analysis and electromagnetic effects/radiated field analysis and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate design development and system integration with subcontractors.
• Generate certification plans and reports to meet FAR Part 23 requirements.
• Regular reliable and predictable attendance.
  
• Travel requirements estimated at 25%

• Bachelors degree in electrical mechanical aerspace industrial or computer engineering; or a combonation of education and experience may be acceptable.

• 2-4 years of direct experience.
• Aviation or automotive electrical system and wire harness design.
  
• Use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes signal generators spectrum analyzers and data acquisition equipment
• Experience using CREO Matlab Eagle VBA or similar programs
• Performing trade studies
• Reading and writing technical documents such as design specifications analysis reports schematics test plans and test reports.
• Presenting design reviews to peers and management
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
• Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read write and speak the English language
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
• Ability to work both independently and within a cross-functional team
• Ability to efficiently learn new skills and manage multiple tasks
• Use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes signal generators and spectrum analyzers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel PowerPoint Word Visio)
  
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read write and speak the English language

• Masters degree.
• Aviation and Pilot experience
  
• Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA PTC Windchill PDM and PTC Creo tools Siemans Capital Logic Designer and Harness Designer Matlab Eagle VBA and Altium.
