Electrical Install Technician

Location: Plainfield IN (serving Greater Indianapolis) Employment Type: FullTime

Bassett Services is seeking a skilled and customerfocused Electrical Install Technician to join our growing this role you will perform residential electrical installations upgrades replacements and system improvements with a strong emphasis on safety craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Youll represent Bassett Services in the field ensuring every homeowner receives reliable highquality service.

• Install residential electrical systems including panels circuits outlets lighting surge protection and grounding systems.

• Perform service upgrades rewiring projects and new equipment installations according to NEC standards.

• Diagnose electrical issues and provide clear professional recommendations to homeowners.

• Ensure all installations meet local state and national electrical codes.

• Communicate effectively with customers regarding project scope timelines and system operation.

• Collaborate with dispatch customer service and other field technicians to ensure efficient workflow.

• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed materials used and job status.

• Uphold Bassett Services standards for cleanliness professionalism and customer care.

• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies.

• Valid Indiana Electrical License (Journeyman or equivalent experience preferred).

• Minimum 23 years of residential electrical installation experience.

• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safe work practices.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams blueprints and specifications.

• Excellent communication and customerservice skills.

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in attics crawlspaces and confined areas.

• Experience installing generators EV chargers or smarthome electrical systems.

• Background in residential service companies or homeservices environments.

• Comfort using tablets mobile apps and digital workorder systems.
