Electrical Inspector Solar Project
Location: Alice TX
Duration: Immediate Start End of September (Contract)
Overview
We are seeking Electrical Inspectors to support a utility-scale solar project in Alice TX. This is a field-based inspection role focused on performing visual quality inspections of installed solar arrays. This is not a hands-on electrical positioninspectors will not be performing installations repairs or electrical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of installed solar panels racking and related electrical components.
- Verify installations meet project quality standards and specifications.
- Identify installation deficiencies or discrepancies during inspections.
- Mark and document any issues found within the solar arrays.
- Report findings to the onsite Construction Manager for corrective action.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and daily reports.
- Follow all site safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience on utility-scale solar projects preferred.
- Construction or quality inspection experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of solar installations or electrical components is helpful but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify installation issues.
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking solar sites for extended periods.
- Ability to document findings clearly and communicate effectively with project leadership.
