Location

Aberdeen MD Full-Time On-Site

Join our team at our Aberdeen office where youll collaborate directly with project managers electricians and leadership. This is a fully on-site opportunity offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and a supportive team environment.

Note

Were seeking candidates with hands-on electrical field experience and a strong background in residential and commercial electrical estimating. Experience with estimating software and completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program are important requirements for this position.

Job Description

As our Electrical Estimator youll play a key role in planning successful projects by developing accurate competitive estimates for residential and commercial electrical construction.

• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates material takeoffs and competitive project bids.
• Review construction drawings blueprints specifications and bid documents.
• Evaluate material labor equipment and subcontractor costs to develop accurate pricing.
• Use electrical estimating software to prepare and manage project estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers suppliers vendors and field teams to understand project requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Research material pricing analyze project costs and negotiate with suppliers.
• Maintain organized estimating records bid documentation and project information.
• Help our team win new projects through accurate timely and well-prepared proposals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of electrical estimating experience with residential and commercial projects.
• 4 years of hands-on electrical field experience.
• Completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program.
• Experience using electrical estimating software and preparing material takeoffs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of accounting construction costs and project management principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and estimating technology.
• Strong analytical organizational communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Aberdeen MD.
