Principal Responsibilities

  • Assistin designing discipline-specific systems per code and IMEG standards

  • Research commercially available equipment

  • Support client relationsmaintainproject design notebooks and prepare permanent record documentation

  • Coordinate design and schedules with other disciplines and suppliers

  • Document design decisions meetings and client instructions while tracking progress

  • Review project documents for accuracy and completeness before final checks

  • Prepare and issue addendum information

  • Conduct job site observations and perform services per contract requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in ElectricalEngineering or equivalent required

  • Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred

  • Strong interest in design consulting

  • Previousexposure to CAD and/or BIM software

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
