Join our Integrated Air Data Systems (IADS) engineering team and help shape the next generation of aviation sensing technologies. Our industryleading SmartProbe and related product lines deliver critical flight dataincluding altitude airspeed and angle of attackto aircraft around the world. As we continue to grow were looking for an electrical engineer whos excited to innovate solve complex challenges and support products throughout their full lifecycle.

What You Will Do:

• Design develop test qualify certify and support cuttingedge IADS products

• Research develop and test electrical systems and components to meet performance quality and safety requirements

• Collaborate closely with a crossfunctional engineering team

• Partner with engineers customers suppliers and stakeholders on new and existing programs

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to improve reliability and manufacturing performance

• Generate clear documentation for new and existing designs

• Build deep technical knowledge of IADS product families

• Develop and apply standard engineering best practices

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

• Experience in circuit theory analog and digital design instrumentation semiconductor devices and power supply design

• Handson experience designing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)

• Familiarity with requirements management and design verification processes

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with RTCA DO160 and MILSTD461 testing

• Background in designing for EMI lightning protection and digital communications

• Proficiency with Cadence and Allegro tools for schematic capture PCB layout CCA design and documentation

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
