Job Summary
IMEG is hiring an Electrical Engineering Graduate Designer 2 in Chicago IL to support the design and analysis of electrical systems for building this role youll contribute to project delivery through technical design support documentation quality review client interaction and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to help deliver safe code-compliant solutions.
Principal Responsibilities
Support electrical system design and analysis for building projects
Prepare and update drawings calculations and project documentation
Coordinate design efforts with internal disciplines and external project partners
Communicate with clients and project teams regarding design requirements and progress
Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout project execution
Review project documents for quality accuracy and completeness
Support safe code-compliant design solutions in accordance with project requirements
Participate in site observations and provide construction-phase support as needed
Travel occasionally to support project and site needs
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
2 year of experience in the building design consulting industry
Familiarity with Revit lighting design software and energy modeling software
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred

State of Illinois Salary Range: $71000 $90000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant.
