Job Summary: The Electrical Engineer/Designer serves to design electrical systems for buildings such as high-rise buildings data center multifamily retail/mixed-use spaces and commercial spaces.

General Duties:

• Design power distribution lighting fire alarm and low-voltage systems for various facility types
• Produce electrical design drawings using Revit software
• Perform field investigations to assess existing conditions and gather project data
• Ensure quality control scheduling and programming of electrical design deliverables
• Coordinate and communicate progress with mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) teams
• Perform load calculations equipment sizing and short-circuit analysis

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in an Engineering field.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in electrical design and construction

Skills:

• Technical Skills:
  • demonstrated project coordination and facilitation experience
  • solid understanding of power distribution emergency power systems grounding and lighting design
  • experience with breaker coordination arc flash studies and voltage drop calculations
  • familiar with electrical codes (NEC) energy efficiency standards (IECC) and industry best practices
  • have experience with high-rise electrical systems hospitality power infrastructure and renewable energy integration

• Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks embracing new challenges with enthusiasm.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for design and specifications
• Proficiency in Revit
• Ability to work collaboratively with architects engineers and contractors
• Initiative: Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward.
