What you will do:

As an Electrical Engineer Sustaining youll focus on maintaining and enhancing existing fire detection hardware including control panels detectors and notification devices. Your work will help ensure long-term product reliability regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve hardware issues in existing products

• Collaborate with global engineering customer support and compliance teams

• Implement design improvements and cost optimizations

• Support product lifecycle activities including component obsolescence and redesigns

• Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory standards

What You will bring:

Required Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering

• 3 years experience in embedded hardware design and troubleshooting

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Proficiency with debugging tools (oscilloscope logic analyzer)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with low-power analog circuit design

• Knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC converters

• Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems

SALARY RANGE: $94000 - $125000 (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
