Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading the design of packages and stations to ensure specifications and performance metrics are met as outlined by the Director of Fleet & Capital Purchasing Stations Construction Group customers and industry standards
  • Reviewing and approving field evaluations to measure and record compression unit and station performance ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
  • Identifying diagnosing and leading resolution efforts for inefficiencies or malfunctions in compression units and station systems
  • Reviewing and approving drawings by designers and/or vendors to ensure stations and compression units meet Kodiak design criteria and applicable industry standards
  • Providing technical guidance and oversight to engineers and designers in the development of electrical and control system designs
  • Collaborating with Sales Operations and Construction teams to ensure that customer requirements and special provisions are effectively incorporated into station and package designs
  • Supporting project execution by contributing to scope development timelines and design reviews
  • Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for system or equipment failures
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety reliability efficiency and cost optimization
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory safety and engineering standards (e.g. ASME NEC B31.3 B31.8)
  • Attending all required Kodiak safety trainings and ensuring adherence to all Kodiak safety requirements
  • Promoting and reinforcing a strong safety culture for both yourself and fellow Kodiak employees
  • Mentoring and developing entry-level and junior engineers
