Job Summary
Location: Bryan/College Station TX (Hybrid Preferred) Remote Considered
Salary: $110000 - $150000
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relay settings for SEL GE ABB and similar relay platforms.
- Perform short-circuit coordination and arc flash studies using CAPE ASPEN and ETAP.
- Conduct relay misoperation analysis using Wavewin and SEL SynchroWave.
- Develop and review NERC PRC compliance reports.
- Create relay settings for wide-area coordination and generator projects.
- Perform power system studies including load flow grounding transformer sizing and short-circuit analysis.
- Apply NEC NESC NEMA IEEE and ANSI standards.
- Coordinate with project teams and clients to support successful project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with protective relaying relay settings and power system studies.
- Ability to read one-line diagrams control schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
