Electrical Engineer

In this role you will be working as an Electrical Engineer for a client that works in the equipment manufacturing company. This position will be responsible for the electrical design of custom equipment from schematic through machine commissioning.

This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Pay; $100000-$125000/Yr.

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (with an electrical focus)
• 5 years of experience in an engineering role
• Solidworks Electrical experience preferred
• Design electrical schematics panel layouts and system architecture for automation equipment
• Own regulatory compliance for machine electrical design - CE UKCA and NFPA 79
• Understanding of circuits and oversee testing
• Work with mechanical and software engineers on control system design using motion controllers servo drives and custom automation components
• Design basic PCBs
• Experience with capital equipment is preferred
• Occasional travel for customer installations
