As an Electrical Engineer at Peter Basso Associates you will join project teams collaborating with top architects contractors and facility owners across diverse markets - education healthcare research institutional multi-family and mixed-use. You will apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.

As an Electrical Engineer at Peter Basso Associates you will join project teams collaborating with top architects contractors and facility owners across diverse markets - education healthcare research institutional multi-family and mixed-use. You will apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking well-rounded professionals with the following abilities.
- Engineerand designthe electrical building systems specifically focused in one or all
of the following areas:- Power Distribution Systems including medium and low voltage distribution systems standby power applications load calculations short circuit and coordination studies arc flash hazard.
- Lighting Systems including calculations lighting controls luminaire selections and architecturally integrated lighting systems.
- Auxiliary Systems including fire alarm systems voice/data structured cabling systems access control CCTV and other low voltage systems design.
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or an engineering-related curriculum from an accreditedU.S. based college or university
- 3-5 years experience in the electrical design of commercial building systems
- Passing the Fundamental of Engineering (FE) exam is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Have a thorough understanding of the coordination aspects of all the design disciplines
and their impact on the project - Team-oriented problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
- Detail oriented self-motivated enthusiastic and flexible
- Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills
