Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Electrical Engineer to design and manage electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams preparing electrical designs supporting construction administration and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial institutional and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with architectural mechanical and structural teams throughout project development.
• Prepare engineering calculations equipment sizing and electrical system designs.
• Provide construction administration and technical support during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building electrical and fire codes.
• Manage project schedules resources and budgets while maintaining quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical design and construction administration experience in a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of building electrical and fire codes.
• Excellent communication organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engineering consulting firms utility companies or city/state government projects.
• Experience with military justice or water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with VisualPro AGI32 or SKM PowerTools.
• Experience supporting LEED or Green Globes certification projects.
