Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Registered Electrical Engineer to design and manage electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams preparing electrical designs supporting construction administration and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for commercial institutional and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with architectural mechanical and structural teams throughout project development.
- Prepare engineering calculations equipment sizing and electrical system designs.
- Provide construction administration and technical support during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building electrical and fire codes.
- Manage project schedules resources and budgets while maintaining quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical design and construction administration experience in a consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of building electrical and fire codes.
- Excellent communication organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with engineering consulting firms utility companies or city/state government projects.
- Experience with military justice or water/wastewater treatment facilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with VisualPro AGI32 or SKM PowerTools.
- Experience supporting LEED or Green Globes certification projects.
