Job: Electrical Engineer Intern

Location: Lenexa KS

The Buildings Group at GBA is welcoming engineering students to join our team as interns! The buildings group Mission Critical. Lenexa KS.

• Mission Critical specializes in many of the top Information Technology companies. Our team in Mission Critical will work on the design of mechanical/electrical systems for data center telecommunications and industrial facilities.

Mission Critical offers the opportunity to work within an integrated team of architects engineers commissioning specialists project managers and construction managers.

• Preparing construction documents for various systems
• Review of shop drawings and RFIs
• Verification of permitting and code requirements
• Facility evaluations and engineering studies
• Trouble shooting and commissioning
• Other fun duties as assigned!

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other related field from accredited program.
• Experience with AutoCAD Revit and Excel software is preferred
• 2.7 GPA strongly preferred
• Finished at least two years of school
• Prior Internship is and/or related experience is a plus
• Involved in campus community and other volunteer activities and/ or organization
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Active involvement in campus community or volunteer organizations
