We are currently seeking an ambitious electrical engineering professional to help us continue our mission of excellence at our Binghamton NY location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Technical responsibilities include:

  • Collaboratingwith cross-functional engineering teams toestablisharchitecture content and develop solutions that achieve customer needs.
  • Having afundamental knowledge of Systems Engineering practices network technologies system development life cycles and methodologies and insight into information technology infrastructure management/monitoring and applications.
  • Providinganalysis design developmentimplementationand security assessments to ensure compliance with JSIG/RMF Continuous Monitoring tools and processes.
  • Performingsystem-level analysesdeterminingand undertakingnecessary trade studies define andallocatethe functional requirements to subsystem.
  • Ensuringall program requirements are met program risks areidentifiedand mitigated and company processes are followed.
  • Recommendingand implementingsystem enhancementswhichwill improve the performance reliability and security of the system including installing upgrading monitoring problem resolution and configuration

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degreein Electrical Engineeringwithminimum7years of prior related experience;or5to 10 years ofaircraftsimulation related job experience.
  • Experience supporting military or defense programs
  • Excellent communication interpersonal skills and the ability tointerface withall levels of employees and management
  • Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risks.
  • Proventrack recordof building relationships fosteringcollaborationand working cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must be detail oriented witha good knowledge of fundamental conceptspracticesand procedures of Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with CAD software preference to AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting customer needs into achievable requirements or capabilities.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance that has been granted or renewed in the last 5 years.
  • Must be able to obtain andmaintainSpecial Program Access
  • Flexibility to support occasional overtime weekend work shiftworkand site travel (CONUS)
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in air-gapped classified or highly secure environments with no direct internet access.
  • Lab equipment experience and familiarity with hand tools.
  • Hands on support of manufacturing.
  • Understanding of ANSI and ASME standards.
  • Familiarity with Mil Standard parts.
  • Military or Aviation maintenance experience.
  • Current Special Access Program (SAP) access

Security Responsibilities

Mustcomplywithall company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials in any not divulge any information or afford access to other employees not having a not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
  • Incumbent must not have ever been denied a DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Work Environment

This joboperatesin a professional office role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phonesphotocopiersandfiling role also works with variousaircraftsimulator equipment (avionic cockpits visual systems electronic cabinets).

Physical Demands
