What Were Looking For:
We value enthusiasm curiosity and a willingness to learn. While prior experience is a plus we welcome candidates with 4 years of professional experience who are eager to grow in a supportive environment.
What Youll Do:
- The role requires strong technical skills in electrical civil and structural principles with a focus on accuracy compliance with codes and utilizing equipment specs.
- Focus of role will be utilizing software (PV case PV Farm SAM PVsyst) for designing optimizing and creating detailed technical plans for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Create PV layouts with to support the electrical design of the project in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Perform electrical blocking and MV routing for PV design
- Assist with generation of single line diagrams
- Evaluating design alternatives to solve constructability code and site challenges.
- Utilize AutoCAD to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups including plan views sections elevations and details
Must-Haves:
- Associate or Technical Degree in CAD Survey Construction or Engineering or B.S. in Engineering Technology or Construction related fields from an accredited institution or acceptable equivalent.
- 8 years of experience.
- Ability to lead design projects mentor junior staff and maintain design standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
