What Were Looking For:

What Youll Do:

  • The role requires strong technical skills in electrical civil and structural principles with a focus on accuracy compliance with codes and utilizing equipment specs.
  • Focus of role will be utilizing software (PV case PV Farm SAM PVsyst) for designing optimizing and creating detailed technical plans for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
  • Create PV layouts with to support the electrical design of the project in collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Perform electrical blocking and MV routing for PV design
  • Assist with generation of single line diagrams
  • Evaluating design alternatives to solve constructability code and site challenges.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups including plan views sections elevations and details

Must-Haves:

  • Associate or Technical Degree in CAD Survey Construction or Engineering or B.S. in Engineering Technology or Construction related fields from an accredited institution or acceptable equivalent.
  • 8 years of experience.
  • Ability to lead design projects mentor junior staff and maintain design standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
