Position description:
- As a member of the Electrical Engineering department youll be a part of creating next generation of software-defined radios and cutting-edge communication systems.
- This position will serve on-site at San Diego CA at the Rancho Carmel campus.
- Researches develops designs and tests electrical components equipment systems and networks.
- Designs electrical equipment facilities components products and systems for commercial industrial and domestic purposes.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field plus 5 or more years of relevant experience; or a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field plus 3 years of experience.
- Experience reading and interpreting specifications schematics and block diagrams
- Experience designing and debugging electrical circuits and/or products
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
- Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects.
- Experience with RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes power meters spectrum analyzers and signal generators
- Experience with RF/Digital hardware and software
- Basic Understanding of VHDL Concepts & Programming
- Experience with Hardware Requirements Derivation
- Proficiency with Microsoft software Word Excel Power Point and Visio.
- Experience with AWR Microwave Office LTSpice Xpedition Mentor Graphics LabVIEW and DOORS would be a plus.
