Validate and characterize electrical subsystems from early proof-of-concept to mass production
Bring up debug and validate signal and power integrity on prototype hardware
Develop and maintain automation frameworks for measurement and testing
Execute test cases related to design verification at each build phase
Report issues in bug tracking systems and debug with hardware and software teams
Support root cause analysis for power signal integrity and other functional areas
Maintain and improve validation test reports plans and test instructions
Debug electrical issues with cross-functional software firmware and hardware teams
Role Description
Candidate will work on consumer devices defining verification measurement methodologies and bringing up verification from early proof-of-concept through mass production. Candidate will implement validation infrastructure to support automation of electrical measurements and ensure the product meets electrical KPIs. Candidate will collaborate with product architects design engineers and cross-functional software firmware and hardware teams to debug electrical issues and validate subsystems from concept to OK2Ship phase.
Requirements
Required Qualification:
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent studies
3 years of experience validating electrical subsystems for consumer devices
Familiar with lab equipment (Oscilloscope power supply eload function generation thermal chamber and DAQ system)
Working knowledge of Bucks Boost LDOs Load Switches Fuel Gauge SoC power etc.
Working knowledge of: I2C SPI UART and other communication protocols
Experience defining validation plans for power subsystems
3 years of experience in automation using Python
Familiar with ADB (having Shell script experience is a plus)
