Electrical and Plumbing Trades Manager

The Electrical and Plumbing Trades Manager leads residential service operations ensuring safe high-quality work while developing technicians to deliver excellent customer experiences. This role drives revenue growth by coaching technicians on in-home communication solution presentation and service-based sales.

• Oversee daily residential electrical and plumbing service operations including scheduling dispatch and job completion.
• Lead coach and develop technicians to improve performance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards codes and company quality expectations.
• Monitor KPIs (average ticket conversion rates callbacks) and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct ride-alongs and field observations to reinforce service and sales behaviors.
• Design and deliver sales training focused on educating customers identifying needs and presenting repair/replacement options (no direct selling responsibility).
• Manage inventory materials and vendor relationships.
• Support hiring onboarding and ongoing training of field staff.

• 5 years in residential electrical/plumbing service; 2 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of residential systems and service workflows.
• Experience coaching technicians on customer interaction and sales fundamentals.
• Relevant licensing as required by state.
• Strong leadership communication and performance management skills.
